Braces-Friendly Recipe For A Spook-tacular Halloween

With Halloween soon approaching and the treat eating imminent, as your local San Antonio orthodontist, we want all of our patients to enjoy Halloween while protecting their orthodontic appliances from damage. If you have braces, there are certain foods you should avoid to prevent breaking a bracket or wire. However, Dr. Bebe has picked out a delicious recipe that’s braces-friendly and allows for a fun celebration of Halloween!

Braces-Friendly Halloween Recipe From Your San Antonio Orthodontist

Halloween Graveyard Pudding Cups by Six Sisters’ Stuff

Makes 8-10 servings



1 (3.9 ounce) package chocolate instant pudding, prepared

1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip

30 Oreos, crushed

Pepperidge Farm Mint Milano cookies

Frosting for writing


  1. Prepare the pudding according to the directions on the box.
  2. Fold the Cool Whip into the pudding.
  3. Place a large spoonful of pudding into small clear cups and top with crushed Oreo crumbs.
  4. Use the frosting to write “RIP” on each Mint Milano Cookie and place the cookie in pudding.
